With a canister that is replaceable, the Palm defender comes in a few different colors. This is the Purple model. The Canister will shoot out Oleoresin Capsicum and will produce over 2 million scoville heat units. Made with a 10% formulation it delivers a cone shaped dispersion spray that will cause a lot of discomfort in the eyes of whoever comes into range.
With a security ring, you can be assured it won't accidentally go off when not in use. Swivel the ring and it's good to go. It actually requires two distinct movements to activate it. You will be given three x one-half second bursts and is effective up to 3 feet.
With no sharp edges, the ASP Palm defender measures 4.5 inches long x 0.625 inches diameter and weighs 1.8oz. The canister is aircraft grade 6061-TG Aluminum with a fine line knurling. An O-ring retainer keeps it safe when not in use and can be attached to a keyring or placed in your pocket. 4 1/2" overall. Aluminum construction with replaceable aerosol inserts. Keyring.
