They start off by using a single piece of file steel. This steel will form the entire knife from the tip of the blade to the end of the handle. Because there are no joints or pivots involved, there are no weak points associated with the knife, so you can simply work it as hard as you like and it's strength will shine through.
The blade section is 6 ¼ inches and has a tip shaped like a Tanto blade with a deep underbelly that is very sharp indeed. Great for hunting, cutting branches, carving a path through the bush, or preparing vegetables around the camp fire.
The handle is covered with Black Micarta for comfort and grip and at the rear is a curved section of steel with a lanyard hole cut into it. Here you can pass your own lanyard cord and lash or strap the knife where you want to.
There is a Black leather belt sheath included with your purchase anyway, so combine the two for security while you are fighting through thick dense woodland.
