It features a 7” part serrated clip-point blade made out of D2 steel with a Rockwell hardness of 59-60. The blade is then given an epoxy powder coat finish to help protect it from any rust damage, allowing the two of you to remain friends for a very long time.
Whatever you use this knife on, it will get the job done without ever becoming tired. The blade also comes with a blood groove which helps strengthen the blade without weighing it down. It also helps any fluid flow away much easier.
Teamed up with the blade is an Oval K Kraton G thermoplastic handle which will help you keep a firm and secure hold all the time. Whatever the conditions you are in you can feel safe and confident you will remain in control.
To prevent your hand from accidentally slipping onto the blade Ka-Bar have fitted a carbon steel guard. You can now be as heavy handed as you want, without worrying about injuring yourself. On the end of the handle it has powdered metal butt cap, which not only make it look great, it can be used as a weapon as well.
