For some people it can be very hard choosing a new knife, as you do not know what you are getting. When you buy a Ka-Bar knife you can relax as you know what you are getting is high quality.
The Kraton G thermoplastic elastomer handle will amaze you in how grippy its texture is. The feel of it when it its your hand is like nothing you have experienced before with a knife. This alone is enough to make you want it there and then. For extra safety it has a carbon steel guard preventing your hand slipping onto the blade when used vigorously. On the end of the handle it has a powdered metal butt cap which can also be used as a powerful weapon.
The knife has very modest 5.25” Tanto style blade made from premium 1095 high carbon steel.
The blade is then given an edgier look by the Black epoxy powder coat which protects it from corrosion. This is also beneficial when used in combat, as it prevents the sun glaring off it alerting the enemy of your whereabouts.
Also included is a Kydex sheath to carry it in.
