This particular knife from the Kershaw range is called the KS1570 Avalanche. Its got a plain edged 3.1 inch blade made from S30V stainless steel and designed by Ken Onion.

Weighing just 3.7 oz it also features Ken Onion's patent pending safety mechanism called Speed-Safe which incorporates a torsion bar for responsive assisted opening and closing of the unit. The handles are super-textured G-10 which ensure fantastic grip in all weathers and conditions.
