The swing blaze is rather revolutionary and has caused quite a stir within the knife community. It sports a bright Orange rubberized Kraton handle that ensures superb grip levels are offered no matter what the weather is.
The knife is a collaboration design between the president of Outdoor Edge David Bloch, EKA knives of Sweden and professional hunter Thomas Ekburg. They worked hard to produce one of the most innovative knives we've seen in a long time.
Using AUS-8 stainless steel which has been further vacuum heat treated, and sub-zero quenched for superior edge retention, the blades offer a brilliant level of performance. You get a drop point skinner blade and a unique gutting blade.
To use the knife, simply operate the push button and rotate the dual blade until the one you want to use locks into place. Perfect, simple and ingenious!
With a lifetime guarantee, this knife also comes with it's own Nylon belt sheath. The Outdoor Edge Swing Blaze OESZ20N has a gutting blade measuring 3.2 inches, a skinning blade measuring 3.6 inches and an overall length of 8.3 inches. With it's sheath it measures 7.1oz.
