It comes with a 2 7/8” unsharpened modified drop point blade made out of AUS6 stainless steel. The blade has been drilled to approximate the weight of a fully sharpened blade, so you can get a feel for it.
Added to the blade is the Spyderco hole which allows one handed opening, which is ideal when your other hand is not free to help you out.
The knife has a vibrant Red fiberglass reinforced handle, which will help you to always keep a firm and tight hold no matter what. There is nothing more frustrating than trying to use your knife with wet hands and having no success at all. This is why Spyderco pride themselves in making sure their knives cater for every day circumstances and never let you down.
To prevent the knife from disengaging, they have added the Boye Dent lockback,. This lets you apply firm pressure without you having to worry about any accidental slip ups.
