Here is a really snazzy looking knife called the Spyderco P'kal folder, model number C103GP. This particular knife has been designed with the Pikal martial art in mind. This Spyderco knife is one you could instantly fall in love with.

Pikal, translated in the Philippino Visayan language means “to rip”. This knife is particularly good at this, as well as most other knife functions that people need. IN other words, a great knife designed by a great knife manufacturer.

The blade is a curved blade that has been made using CPM S30V stainless steel. It is particularly suited to drawing cuts in a downward manner. At the top of the spine is a removable Emerson opening feature which is rather interesting idea whereby the device will catch on to the lip of your pants as you pull the knife from your pocket, and this catching motion will automatically draw the blade open ready for use. Ernest Emerson of Emerson knives patented and popularised this feature.

Typically this knife will be gripped in a reverse grip style. A good deep choil increases grip levels during use. A smaller choil on the top side provides a grip point for your little finger which lends a better dexterity to the knife and allows you to utilize better control during use.

The Spyderco ball bearing lock is positioned above and behind the blade. It is housed in a plastic cover which can be accessed whether you adopt a left handed or right handed grip. Finally, a handy metal steel wire pocket clip is included that allows tip up carrying.

Overall, this knife measures 7.375 inches and enjoys a 3 inch blade with a usable cutting edge of 2.81 inches. The hole diameter is ½ inch and the blade thickness is 1/8 inch. The handle has been made using G-10 for that supreme grip and level of comfort you are used to. This knife weighs 3.6oz and weighs 4.37 inches when closed.
