The knife has a 2 5/16” drop point fixed blade made out of AUS8 stainless steel. The blade is then given a non reflective Black powder coat to protect it from rusting. This coating is also ideal as it prevents the sun reflecting off the blade, giving you the element of surprise.
This knife has a full tang construction with Black zytel scales to help enhance your grip and performance. No matter how heavy handed or vigorous you are, you will always remain in control and never lose your grip once.
The Ka-Bar TDI Enforcement knife KA1480 also comes with a side to side reversible hard plastic friction fit sheath with belt/boot clip.

The TDI Law Enforcement Knife was designed to be used as a "last option" knife. In extreme close quarters encounters where a suspect is attempting to take an officer's handgun, or the officer cannot access his/her handgun, the TDI knife is available. Designed as an "off hand" knife that draws like a pistol, the reversible sheath can be worn on either the right or left side of the officer's belt.
