As you may or may not know, Hand-Tools.com is located at 142 Jodie Williams Road in DeRidder, Louisiana.  We have a 6,000 square foot warehouse with a brick entrance.  We sell to the public in our showroom in front of the warehouse.  We also sell over 50,000 different products on Hand-Tools.com that we ship all over the world.

This morning when we got to work we noticed a large amount of these Spyderco C81GPGY2 knives had been purchased over the weekend. After some researched it was discovered that these purchases were being driven by a blog post on Spyderco’s website.

In browsing through the thread on Spyderco forums I couldn’t help but notice this post (click on it to enlarge if you can’t read it).  The posts says “Hand-tools either has a never ending supply, or a never-updated inventory.  Stock showing 10 in stock this morning!”

We feel the need to explain how Hand-Tools.com inventory control works. Hand-Tools.com inventory is updated in real time as we process orders.  As you may know, an internet order is an offer to purchase.  As such, these orders are reviewed and upon acceptance of the order the inventory is adjusted accordingly.  Once we discovered we had more orders to purchase the knives than we had available, we had to allocate the knives to a 1-piece limit until all the quanity was depleted.  The few remaining orders unfortunately had to be canceled.

We strive to make our inventory as accurate as possible.  We are a stocking supplier of the products we sell and try our best to make our customers’ experience the best that can be found.  Thank you all for your business!
